About the role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Cath Lab Team at Trinity Oakland. Our state-of-the-art Heart Catheterization (Cath) and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab operates 5 advanced labs, including one dedicated EP lab, three Cath labs, and one hybrid lab in the OR. Our facility includes a cutting-edge Hybrid Operating Room (OR) for seamless integration of Cath and EP procedures, focusing on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Structural Heart, Mitral Valve Repair (MVR), and device explants.

We handle 10-14 Cath cases daily, including diagnostic and interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), stent placement, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurements, Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) procedures, and treatment of STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction). Our team collaborates to deliver exceptional care using the latest technology and techniques.

Responsibilities

Scrub and gown for surgery to assist the cardiologist in all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures.
Perform specialized and complex invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures.
Assist the cardiologist in surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Prepare patients and monitor their condition during invasive cardiovascular procedures.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong preference for Critical Care and/or Cath Lab experience.

Schedule

Full-Time - Day Shift with call required and 30-minute arrival time.
