About the role

Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures. Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
