Job Summary
Per Diem, Days. Responsible for utilization review and discharge planning of all acute clinical areas. Responsible for all insurance authorizations, clinical communication, and denial and appeals. Tracking and reporting of data for other departments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates clinical care of assigned patient population during the acute phase of illness from a utilization perspective
- Identifies high risk patients and implements appropriate discharge plan
- Exhibits quality in daily performance
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of Registered Nurse Program
- Experience: 2 years acute care RN experience
- License: Registered Nurse
- Certification: BLS (American Heart Association)
