Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Current, unrestricted RN license from the State of Montana or a compact state.
- Preference for one year of nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Certification in Care Coordination preferred; required within one (1) year of employment.
- Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (AMB‑BC) preferred.
- Existing or new National Provider Number.
- Education: Level 1 – Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school; Level 2 – Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school.
- Application materials: completed Tribal application, copy of academic transcript/training certificates and licensure, copy of valid driver’s license, proof of enrollment in a federally recognized Tribe (if other than CSKT), and if claiming veterans preference, a copy of DD214.
- Position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to random drug testing per CSKT Drug Testing policy; successful applicant must pass a pre‑hire drug test if not already employed by the Tribes and serve a mandatory six‑month probationary period.
- Must pass a background and suitability check per Public Law 101‑630 (Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act).
- Salary is negotiable DOE, plus benefits.
- May be employed under contract.
