Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in a telemetry and intermediate care unit
- Ensure patient needs are met according to policies and protocols
- Serve as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Monitor and document patient conditions
- Implement and oversee patient care
- Follow physician and nursing orders
- Ensure comprehensive discharge planning
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse with an active Alabama license
- BLS certification obtained within 30 days
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program is required
