About the role
Texas Health Huguley is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring legal and ethical practice, and participating in initiatives related to quality, safety, effectiveness, efficiency, and impact on practice in the delivery of nursing services. You will serve as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed, and ensure the appropriate use and stewardship of medical supplies and equipment to support patient safety and operational efficiency. The position also involves ensuring safe and effective handoff communication and documentation, as well as conducting thorough, ongoing assessments of patients, analyzing assessment data, and developing individualized, evidence-based plans of care to optimize outcomes in alignment with interdisciplinary goals.
Schedule
- Full time, Day shift (7:00am - 7:00pm) OR Night shift (7:00pm - 7:00am) available
Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Prior hospital/acute care nursing experience [Preferred]
- Must have PCU experience
- Must be fluent in English (read, verbal, and written skills) [Required]
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Required]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]
