Registered Nurse/Cardiac SAU

Responsibilities

• Assessment and re-assessment of patients
• Development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care and patient care interventions
• Supervision and coordination of licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care
• Guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
• Documentation of patient care

The Staff Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. This role may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Potential exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Standard precautions must be followed.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire (Hospice Only: Current CPR issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association required in lieu of BLS)
• Other certifications and competencies as required by the service line
