Position Overview
The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
Specialization
Specializing in critically ill adult patients with altered cardiac function and hemodynamic instability.
Required Experience
- Two years of recent acute nursing experience
- One year of recent RN travel experience
- Two years of Cardiac ICU RN experience
- Experience with pulmonary artery catheter, IABP, Impella, advanced hemodynamic monitoring and management, and ventilator management
Schedule Notes
- 13-week assignment
- One year of travel required
- Cardiac ICU 36 hours per week
- Day/Night rotation: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
- Every third weekend required
- Floating as needed
