Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor specific patient care plans to ensure treatment is progressing as intended.
• Observe, record, and communicate changes in a patient's condition to the appropriate parties.
• Act as a central coordinator across all medical disciplines to ensure patient care remains well-coordinated.
• Attend to and accurately carry out all medical orders provided by physicians and nursing staff.
• Evaluate and coordinate a patient’s ongoing care needs in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Advanced Life Support credential obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• BLS Provider credential obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
