Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

About the role

Pali Momi Medical Center is a 118-bed facility with over 400 physicians on its medical staff. Located in Central and West O'ahu, the hospital offers a wide range of services, including an interventional cardiac catheterization unit, minimally invasive surgical suite, and a comprehensive women's center.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and compassionate nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care.
• Function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time.

Requirements

• Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CPR cards.
• One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in an Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting or Critical Care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Two (2) years recent acute care Registered Nurse experience supporting cardiac diagnostic imaging/conscious sedation.
• Interventional cardiovascular and peripheral vascular Registered Nurse experience.
• Critical Care Registered Nurse experience.
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards.
