Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Cardiac Cath Lab team. This position offers specialized cardiac nursing care, with a predictable day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
• Support cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and attention to patient safety

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Illinois RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
• Previous nursing experience required
• Strong communication skills, physical stamina, and emotional resilience
