Registered Nurse - Cancer Center

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely
• Prepare and educate patients undergoing chemotherapy
• Carefully coordinate care schedules
• Instruct patients and families on post-treatment care
• Auxiliary in staff and student education on chemotherapy safety, central line care, and perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Current Wyoming RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Nursing degree (BSN preferred)
• Chemotherapy certification within three months
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required, with minimum one year of acute care experience preferred

• Ability to respond quickly to patient condition changes
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team
• Adhere to safety protocols
• Handle potential exposure to hazardous materials
