Registered Nurse, Birth Center, PRN Nights

About the role

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work at the VANDERBITL BIRTH CENTER PRN, providing care to patients in a midwifery-led out-of-hospital birth center setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinating and implementing care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements

• Experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D), Mother/Baby, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), or similar birth-related settings is essential.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Graduate of an approved nursing program.

• Evidence-Based Practice (Novice).

• Nursing Patient Education (Novice).
• Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation (Novice).
