Registered Nurse – Birmingham, AL (New graduates welcome)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join a growing outpatient addiction medicine practice. This role is ideal for both experienced nurses and new graduates interested in providing direct patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The position primarily involves conducting in-person nursing assessments to support medication-assisted treatment (MAT) compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic physical assessments, including vital signs and blood pressure
• Conduct occasional urine drug screenings
• Complete required in-person nursing evaluations for compliance
• Document patient encounters accurately in EMR (QuickMD)
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
• Travel periodically to satellite clinic locations (as needed)

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Alabama RN license (or willingness to obtain - employer will cover cost)
• New graduates welcome to apply
• No prior addiction medicine or SUD experience required

Pay & Schedule

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: one weekend day (No call, no holidays - occasional travel within Alabama)
• Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (negotiable)
