Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join a growing outpatient addiction medicine practice. This role is ideal for both experienced nurses and new graduates interested in providing direct patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The position primarily involves conducting in-person nursing assessments to support medication-assisted treatment (MAT) compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic physical assessments, including vital signs and blood pressure
- Conduct occasional urine drug screenings
- Complete required in-person nursing evaluations for compliance
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR (QuickMD)
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
- Travel periodically to satellite clinic locations (as needed)
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Alabama RN license (or willingness to obtain - employer will cover cost)
- New graduates welcome to apply
- No prior addiction medicine or SUD experience required
Pay & Schedule
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: one weekend day (No call, no holidays - occasional travel within Alabama)
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (negotiable)
