Registered Nurse (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Responsibilities
- Triage patients and assists patients with their needs based on acuity.
- Provides quality nursing care and medication administration.
- Administers immunizations/vaccines to specified patients.
- Makes sure patient reactions and side-effects are monitored.
- Aids the care team in pre-visit planning for high-risk patients.
- Ensures the implementation of plans of care.
- Behaves as a role-model and source of nursing guidance to medical assistants and phlebotomists that are part of the team.
- Assists with prepping patients as needed and providing patient education.
- Assists providers during examinations and treatments.
- Makes sure proper sterilization procedures using germicides, sterilizers, or autoclave are followed.
- Makes sure departmental adherence to clinical policies and procedures.
- Maintains health records by documenting patient contact and updating patient profile.
- Implements standing orders.
- Checks equipment, logs, and medical kits.
- Orders medical supplies, medications, and vaccines as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
- NYS Registered Professional Nurse, required.
- Bilingual English and Spanish full fluency is required.
- Excellent communication skills, compassion, empathy, and team-driven attributes are essential.
- Knowledge/training in electronic health records and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Benefits
Starting Compensation: Minimum $82,560 Maximum $98,560/annum contingent on degree and experience level.

Starting Compensation: Minimum $82,560 Maximum $98,560/annum contingent on degree and experience level.
Schedule
Onsite, Corona, Queens, NY, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm/7:00am-4:00pm/8:30am-5:30pm with rotating Saturday shifts.
