About Thompson
Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services, and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. Responsibilities
- Provide medical oversight, care, education, and guidance to the youth in your care.
- Medication administration oversight.
- Medical file record keeping.
- Respond to client medical needs.
- Work directly with the psychiatrist to provide professional nursing care.
Performance will be measured by your individual outcomes, achieving your individual targets/goals, your contribution to your overall program team/department, and your buy-in to the culture of the organization.
Schedule
Flexible to work Full Time Days or Full Time Nights (6pm-6am or 6am-6pm). 3 shifts of 12 hours each, including at least one weekend, one minor holiday, and two major holidays.
Pay
Starting pay range: $35.00-$38.00 hourly.

Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
- Associates Degree in Nursing or related field.
- No minimum number of years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Requires a license as an RN in North Carolina.
- Must be able to work Full Time Days or Nights.
