Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services, and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight, care, education, and guidance to the youth in your care.
• Medication administration oversight.
• Medical file record keeping.
• Respond to client medical needs.
• Work directly with the psychiatrist to provide professional nursing care.

Performance will be measured by your individual outcomes, achieving your individual targets/goals, your contribution to your overall program team/department, and your buy-in to the culture of the organization.

Schedule

Flexible to work Full Time Days or Full Time Nights (6pm-6am or 6am-6pm). 3 shifts of 12 hours each, including at least one weekend, one minor holiday, and two major holidays.

Pay

Starting pay range: $35.00-$38.00 hourly.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
• Associates Degree in Nursing or related field.
• No minimum number of years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Requires a license as an RN in North Carolina.
• Must be able to work Full Time Days or Nights.
