Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in their homes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation.
  • RN with a Bachelor's Degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing must have one year of recent nursing experience, recommended to be within the last 3 years, in an acute treatment unit in a psychiatric hospital, psychiatric home care, a psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), or another out-patient psychiatric service.
  • RN with an Associate's Degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing must have two years of recent nursing experience, recommended to be within the last 3 years, in an acute treatment unit in a psychiatric hospital, psychiatric home care, a psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), or another out-patient psychiatric service.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation.
  • Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
  • Able to travel to all business locations.

  • Knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
