We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team at Baptist Jacksonville. This is a full-time nights position. Primary location: Downtown – Main Building.

Responsibilities

• Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of Behavioral Health Nursing experience.
• Diploma‑prepared nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Successful completion of a Level II background check (fingerprint‑based screening of FDLE and FBI records) as a condition of employment; see Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse for details: https://info.flclearinghouse.com/
