Registered Nurse -Behavioral Health
About the role
The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110-bed hospital located in the heart of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY. The Ridge provides psychiatric, and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The Ridge offers Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Individual Counseling, as well as Medication Management for all ages. We have provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for more than 39 years.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to patients in a hospital setting.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
Requirements
- Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky.
- At least 1-2 years of inpatient psychiatric experience (for PRN positions).
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
- Experience or interest in working in a psychiatric inpatient setting preferred.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Compensation details are competitive and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
- (7:00pm-7:30am or 7a-7:30p) - rotating every other weekend.
- (Block weekend schedules Fri-Sun).
