At Holy Cross Hospital West Valley, the Behavioral Health department is a compassionate and supportive haven for individuals seeking healing and respite. With 26 beds dedicated to patient's well-being, the unit offers a nurturing environment where every individual is treated with utmost care and dignity. Our friendly and empathetic staff members, including experienced mental health professionals like psychiatrists, nurses, and therapists, collaborate to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Requirements
- Education Requirements: Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement. Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience Requirements: One year experience preferred. Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
- Licenses/Certification Requirements: RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
- Physical Requirements: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).

Pay
The posted compensation range of $32.01 - $48.43 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
