Key Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, and implements nursing care for patients undergoing eye procedures.
- Maintains vigilance over patients' vital signs and responds promptly to any changes in condition.
- Administers medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Provides pre- and post-operative care, including patient education and discharge instructions.
- Collaborates effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Ensures accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
- Adheres to infection control protocols and maintains a safe and clean environment for patients.

Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is preferred.
- Must have current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient.
- Excellent team player and effective communicator with staff, patients, and physicians.
