About the role

Join our dedicated team at TLC Nursing Center as a Registered Nurse (RN). TLC Nursing Center is committed to providing high-quality care and support to our residents at 212 Ellen St., Oneonta.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor residents for adverse reactions, and educate on medication management and side effects.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, initiating appropriate interventions as needed.
• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure safe and effective care.
• Document resident assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
