About the role
The Arkansas Legal Fellowship program provides legal training and practical experience to law students who are interested in public service careers in Arkansas. Fellows will work under the supervision of experienced attorneys on a variety of legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
- Participate in client meetings and hearings
- Provide legal advice and assistance to clients
- Assist in preparing legal pleadings and motions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a law school
- Strong academic record
- Interest in public service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Pass the bar exam
Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
