Responsibilities
- Coordinates services with various public and private community health, mental health and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals.
- Aids individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process.
- Conducts assessments and treatment plans.
- Provides individual and family counseling.
- Develops educational curriculum.
- Serves as clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility.
- Oversees and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring, such as diabetes and blood pressure.
- Responds to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed.
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.
- Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
- Administers medication as required by protocol.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Cross-functional collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.
- Performs other related duties assigned.
Requirements
- Education/Licenses: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Valid and current state-specific RN license (Compact licensure preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to conduct assessments and treatment plans.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Effective listening skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Trauma Informed Care experience preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
- Driving Requirements: If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations’ driving policy. If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
