About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem (PRN) position with Five Star Staffing at Redstone campuses in Greensburg, Murrysville, and North Huntingdon. Shifts vary (days/shifts). The role involves supporting Redstone’s mission in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) or personal care homes (PCH) across Westmoreland County.

Responsibilities

• Providing total nursing care to residents in the facility
• Maintaining a safe, abuse‑free environment for all residents
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Accurate documentation of residents’ conditions, medications, treatments, and other mandated records
• Accurate completion of the admission process, including assessments, interim care plans, service plans, obtaining physician orders, and timely documentation per admission process

Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nurse Licensure in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Orientation must be initiated within two (2) weeks of hire and completed within six (6) weeks.
• Minimum of sixteen (16) hours of orientation at the preferred campus to be eligible to pick up shifts.
• Must work the minimum hours in a four‑week period master schedule as outlined in the program levels to remain eligible for the associated wage rate.
• Assignment may be to Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) or Personal Care Homes (PCH) in the Westmoreland County area.

Pay

Starting rate of $36.50/hour. Bronze, Silver, and Gold program levels provide pay ranging from $36.50 to $44/hour. Base rate is $36.50/hour with no shift requirement; eligibility for higher program levels depends on meeting minimum hours in a four‑week period.
