About the role
The Registered Nurse role at Putnam General Hospital is a full-time, on-site position based in Eatonton, Ga.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions
- Develop and implement care plans

- Sustain a respectful, inclusive environment for patients, families, and colleagues
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia and graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Demonstrated clinical nursing skills in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and monitoring of patient outcomes in an acute care or similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate patients and families, and to collaborate with physicians, peers, and support staff
- Able to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records
- Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and adherence to evidence-based practice, hospital policies, and regulatory standards
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, and to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and other relevant certifications (e.g., PALS) are beneficial
- Previous experience in a hospital or community healthcare setting is preferred, along with a strong interest in serving the local community
