Novant Health is expanding emergency services with the new Clements Ferry Emergency Department, a freestanding, state-of-the-art facility bringing high-quality, 24/7 emergency care closer to home for the Daniel Island and greater Charleston communities. Designed for efficiency and patient comfort, this modern ED will feature advanced imaging, on-site laboratory services, and seamless access to Novant Health’s broader network of hospitals and specialists throughout the Carolinas. This expansion reflects our continued commitment to quality, safety, and building healthier communities.

What You'll Do

• Provides direct and/or indirect nursing care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse
• Delivers safe, effective, and professional nursing care to assigned patients
• Affords assessments, plans, implements, and evaluates the healthcare needs of patients
• Cares for a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics (unless otherwise specified)
• Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintains a customer-focused approach and supports department goals
• Delivers nursing care aligned with established practice standards and clinical guidelines
• Must be willing and able to float to comparable nursing units as needed

What We're Looking For

• Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
• Successful completion of nursing service orientation program
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• NRP preferred (provided during training if not currently certified)
• TNCC required within one year of hire
• IV therapy competency within one year
• Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of required competencies
• Specialty certification and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged
