RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

• Acquire vital signs, urine drug screens, and ensure that required documentation is completed and filed as needed.
• Participate in the Individual Plan of Care/ Treatment Plan.
• Provide nursing consultation, assistance, training and delegation of medication administration procedures to staff of Adult Outpatient.
• Educate and counsel clients, family members, and primary care providers.
• Be responsible for medication refills, prior authorizations, lab requisitions, and coordination of care across disciplines.
• Interface with a wide range of medical and professional clinicians in hospital/clinic settings.
