About the role

California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is seeking skilled CA-licensed Registered Nurses to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering quality medical care in correctional facilities statewide. Immediate openings are available at PBSP (Crescent City), Correctional Training Facility, San Quentin State Prison, and Salinas Valley State Prison.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care for patients with both chronic and acute conditions
• Educate patients in self-care, wellness, and symptom and disease management
• Perform disease prevention and infection prevention/control activities

Requirements

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in California

Pay

Annual salary ranges:

• $119,820 – $142,836 (Non-Bay Area)
• $132,084 – $157,464 (Bay Area)
