The CBHH is a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility for adults experiencing a serious mental health episode. The length of stay is usually less than 30 days, during which treatment focuses on stabilization, patient education, and discharge planning involving community support resources, with the overall goal of preventing future episodes. Responsibilities

• Perform experienced, professional nursing care including assessing and diagnosing the needs of patients
• Develop individualized nursing plans to meet those needs in coordination with the multi-disciplinary team
• Provide direct nursing interventions and/or delegate specific nursing tasks to appropriate staff
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan and the care provided
• Participate as a member of the CBHH treatment team
• Act as charge nurse when assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Current licensure in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse. Future Registered Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-RN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-RN.
• Ability to pass/perform CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Intervention.

Pay

$40.59 - $60.06 / hourly

Schedule

• Rotating Shift, 6:45am-5:15pm, 11:45am-10:15pm
• 60 hours per pay period
• Days vary, will include every third weekend
