Registered Nurse
About the role
Lifesteps, a local non-profit human services agency, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team in the Indiana, PA area. This part-time position works one day per month - 7am-3pm (8hrs), preferably on Tuesdays. Other days of the week are negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison between Lifesteps staff and medical professionals
- Consults with staff on cases involving individuals with disabilities and aging adults
- Trains staff to administer medical recommendations and protocols as prescribed
- Ensures internal control and compliance for prescribed procedures
- Mentors staff in promoting healthy lifestyles
Requirements
- RN with current PA license
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to provide acceptable clearances
- Ability to lift, position, and/or move up to 200lbs with assistance
Qualifications
- Mental Health and/or social work preferred, but not required
