About the role

Position Summary Lakeview Health Center & Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and supervise high‑quality resident care in a long‑term care environment. This role includes clinical assessments, care planning, medication administration, documentation, and supervision of LPNs, Nurse Technicians, and Nursing Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act
• Complete assessments and update individualized care plans
• Implement medical orders and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Supervise and support nursing staff; assist with training and orientation
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation
• Maintain resident rights, safety, and confidentiality
• Participate in required in‑service education
• Support person‑centered care practices
• Assist with accurate and timely MDS completion (Hillview Campus, if assigned)
• Support restorative nursing programs
• Apply clinical assessment skills to ensure accurate coding and compliance

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Wisconsin
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• CPR certification
• Strong leadership, communication, and assessment skills
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 60 lbs
• Long‑term care experience preferred
• Must pass background check per Wisconsin Caregiver Law

Pay

Wage: $36.08 – $40.54 per hour, plus applicable shift and weekend differentials.

Schedule

• AM Shift (Part‑Time with Benefits): 72–80 hours per pay period, every other weekend holiday rotation; 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• PM Shift (Part‑Time with Benefits): 64 hours per pay period, every other weekend holiday rotation; 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• Variable Hours (0–39 hrs per pay period) – PM Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm; every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• Variable Hours (0–39 hrs per pay period) – Overnight Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:30 am; every other weekend (Friday & Saturday)
• Variable Hours (0–39 hrs per pay period) – AM Shift: 6:00 am
