Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic.
• Evaluates inpatient wounds.
• Communicates with physicians, charge nurse, and coworkers regarding changes in the patient’s treatment, clinical condition, and results of diagnostic studies.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
• BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Previous Wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred (one year).
• Wound Care Certification within the first year of hire.
• Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred.
