About the role

Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no on call, no weekends, no holidays. Seeking a Registered Nurse for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining an orderly, efficient, and timely flow of patients
  • Greeting patients and preparing them for physician’s examination
  • Providing general nursing care to patients as necessary for office treatment
  • Screening patients for appropriate information
  • Instructing patients in collection of samples and tests
  • Arranging for patient testing and admissions
  • Checking rooms daily for necessary supplies
  • Responding to and referring incoming telephone calls
  • Instructing patients and family regarding medications and treatment instructions
  • Maintaining and reviewing patients’ records and other pertinent information
  • Posting tests and examination results
  • Maintaining patient confidentially
  • Administering medications in accordance with physician orders
  • Maintaining current knowledge to assure a safe working environment and demonstrating practical application of all policies and procedures relative to safety and infection control
  • Utilizing universal precautions in any potential contact with patient body fluids or used patient supplies that may be contaminated with patient body fluids
  • Projecting a positive image of the facility in all interactions and supporting effective team functioning
  • Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required
  • 1-3 years of experience as a registered nurse is preferred
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations
