About the role

FloMed Infusion is an outpatient infusion clinic offering medical infusions and injections in a relaxing ambulatory environment. We are a Florida-based company with plans for rapid expansion across the state of New Jersey, currently operating 11 offices in Florida and 4 in New Jersey. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday) at our Jupiter location.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical infusion services and ensure the quality and adequacy of care.
• Administer clinical care, prepare progress notes, and summarize patient care.
• Supervise staff when required.
• Keep the Nursing Manager, physician, and other personnel informed of changes in the client’s condition.
• Comply with accepted professional standards of practice and regulatory compliance, including OSHA and HIPAA.
• Perform tasks with potential exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM).

Requirements

• Current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of hire (Florida or New Jersey).
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
• Minimum of five (5) years of documented nursing experience.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience, with two (2) years in infusion care preferred.
• Exceptional nursing assessment skills and excellent IV skills, including ability to start IV lines on difficult patients.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to treat clients, staff, and the public with courtesy and respect.
• Pediatric experience and port access experience are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull.
• Provide varied assistance depending on the client’s ability.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Spanish language skills (preferred).
