About the role

DSD Alaris Health at St. Mary's - Plainfield is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, ensuring their dialysis treatment stays on track.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and make sound decisions for patients related to their dialysis treatment
• Occasionally partner with SNF staff to coordinate care
• Work 3 days a week, with occasional Saturdays
• No on-call shifts required
• Conduct patient education and provide direct patient care
• Supervise Dialysis Technicians to meet capacity and efficiency goals
• Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 12 months' of RN experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Qualifications

• Previous chronic hemodialysis, acute dialysis, or peritoneal dialysis (PD) nursing experience
• Training/teaching/healthcare education background
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)

Pay
