Registered Nurse
About the role
DaVita is seeking a Nurse to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. The position does not require dialysis experience and training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than the assigned home clinic.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way, similar to how you would want your own care to be.
- Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
- Be a part of a supportive team that works together to provide comprehensive care.
- Oversee a group of patients with the assistance of PCTs, conducting patient observations, measuring stats, and setting up machines.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, using your head, heart, and hands each day.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) is helpful but not required.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
Qualifications
The position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Traveling to other locations including DaVita Calumet City and DaVita South Holland is also required.

Pay
