Registered Nurse
About the role
DaVita is seeking a Nurse to join an outpatient dialysis center. The role involves providing care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, building long-term relationships with patients and their families, and delivering care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring unique treatment plans.
- Conduct patient observations, measure stats, and set up machines under the support of PCTs.
- Work in a team environment, supporting and relying on colleagues.
- Oversee a group of patients and manage their care.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements
- No dialysis experience required. Paid on-the-job training available for the first 10 weeks.
- Float to various clinics as needed.
- Must be comfortable working 3-4 days/week, 10-14 hours per shift, with no on-call requirement.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana.
- A degree in Nursing (A.D.N., B.S.N., or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program).
- Previous experience in Intensive Care Unit, Critical Care Unit, Emergency Room, Medical Surgical, or dialysis preferred.
