Responsibilities
- Provide nursing services for adults with a variety of mental health diagnoses.
- Function as a Float Nurse to assist AMHS teams as needed.
- Complete assessments for adults with serious mental illness.
- Provide referrals to community agencies.
- Provide crisis services.
- Coordinate hospital discharge functions.
- Administer prescribed drugs and provide extensive documentation.
- Work closely with team Psychiatrists and other team members.
- Manage data and outcomes for AMHS Healthcare Integration projects.
- Consult with primary care physicians and community resources.
- Assist with staff training as needed.
Requirements
- Possession of an Associate’s degree or a diploma in Nursing.
- State of Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
- One year of nursing experience.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Experience serving adults with co-occurring disorders and serious mental illness preferred.
- Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with computers.
Pay
$63,420 - $75,680 annually.
Schedule
40 hours per week.
