About the role

As a Registered Nurse at CentraCare’s Melrose Hospital, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your role is crucial in ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients
• Adhere to established nursing practice standards
• Work with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective and efficient patient care
• Achieve optimal outcomes
• Oversee the care provided to assigned patients, ensuring compliance with current standards, guidelines and regulations
• Train in Med/Surg, ER and OB

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Minnesota RN license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Critical Advanced Life Support (CALS) and TNCC certified within 9 months of employment

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay based on experience and degree
• Associate/Diploma in nursing: $42.86 per hour
• Bachelor’s in nursing: $44.34 per hour
• Master’s in nursing: $45.82 per hour
• Pay range: $42.86 - $71.51 per hour
• $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates!

Schedule

• Full-time
• 60 hours every two weeks
• Rotating day and night shifts
• 7:00 am – 7:30 pm, 10:00 am - 10:30 pm and 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
• Every third weekend
• Rotating holidays
