About the role

Cascade Community Healthcare is seeking an RN to join our inpatient team. We provide compassionate and encouraging counseling to help clients make positive changes and live more satisfying lives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
  • Interact with patients, families, physicians, teammates, contractors, and vendors in a friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional manner.
  • Create and evaluate customized care plans with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, fostering a harmonious environment.
  • Maintain patient medical histories and monitor changes in their condition.
  • Carry out treatments and medications, check inventory levels, and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment and adhere to facility procedures.
  • Conduct research to improve nursing practices and healthcare outcomes.
  • Discuss treatment with pharmacists and physicians in critical cases.
  • Keep track of patient care aspects including physical activity and proper diet.
  • Resolve patients' problems and fulfill their requirements through a multifaceted team strategy.
  • Attend educational workshops to enhance professional and technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • Washington State Department of Health Registered Nurse Licensure is required.
  • Two years RN experience preferred; behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check.
  • Must be physically able to pass violence prevention training.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
  • Maintain current home telephone and address on file with the personnel office.

Qualifications

  • BSN preferred.
  • MSN preferred.

Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital personnel.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Good reasoning ability and independent judgment.

Pay

RN Associate: $48.43 - $59.04
RN BS: $51.13 - $62.33
RN BSN: $53.81 - $65.59
RN MSN: $59.19 - $72.15

Schedule

NOC Shift, Thursday - Saturday: 3 - 12s, 7:00pm - 7:30am
