What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care to clients in our Residential and PHP programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, dietitians, and the clinical team to support individualized care.
- Administer, monitor, and document medications in accordance with Alsana policies.
- Complete nursing assessments, obtain vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and provide basic medical care.
- Support client admissions, medication reconciliation, and discharge planning.
- Assist with physician visits and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in meal support and nutrition-related activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Alabama.
- Diploma, ADN, or BSN required.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Phlebotomy skills required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Behavioral health, eating disorder, residential, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records.
Schedule
(3) 12-hour shifts per week 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
