Position Summary

A Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s). Utilizing the nursing process, the RN delivers superb health care in a compassionate manner, is committed to excellence and empowered to streamline and improve operations.

  • 1st Shift - Days Pattern
  • Shift Differentials: $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm, $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am, $2.50 extra for working weekends

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 years of acute care experience in a level III NICU, - OR - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Women's & Children's Service Line, Critical Care Service Line, Emergency Department, or Family Birth Center at Asante
  • Preferred Experience: Level III NICU experience, Neonatal Transport, NICU Charge experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: RN: Registered Nurse licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing is required upon start, BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start, NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, jointly sponsored with the AHA, must be obtained within 4 months of hire, RNC-NIC: Registered Nurse Certified - Neonatal Intensive Care is preferred, CCRN-N: Critical Care Registered Nurse – Neonatal is preferred
  • Minimum 432 hours of Integrative Practicum in a Level III NICU experience is preferred
