Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Urology

Role Overview: The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and care transitions. Key Responsibilities: Support professional nursing practice across various settings, lead quality improvement initiatives, delegate tasks based on skill and resource availability, and serve as a resource for complex urinary catheter management. The RN promotes adherence to clinical guidelines, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and supports patient and family education. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent experience, current RN licensure, and excellent communication skills. Preferred experience includes urinary catheter management, CAUTI prevention, and leadership abilities. The role requires computer proficiency, adaptability to flexible hours, and the capacity to work in team environments and handle unpredictable situations. Additional Requirements: Ability to support early urology consultations, participate in quality initiatives, and provide education and mentorship to clinical staff.
