Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery Center

About the role

An experienced Nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care while managing contingencies and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care following the ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects and efficacy using established protocols.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care activities accurately.
• Assess educational needs and provide guidance to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Schedule

Full-time position requiring five 8-hour shifts per week, with responsibilities including delegation and adaptation to patient needs.
