Responsibilities* Coordinate and provide nursing care to patients and families in the back & pain procedure suites.Provide support through phone triage and InBasket workProvide nursing care to patient's pre and post procedure.Assist physicians during procedures: administer and monitor IV sedation.Provide patient education to patients and families.Participate in continuous quality improvement program. Required Qualifications* As evidenced by interviews, recent performance appraisals and reference feedback: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.Three (3) years current experience (within last three years) providing care to adult populations requiring sedation/monitoring as an ED, ICU, Flight Nurse or similar procedural unit providing sedation.Current ACLS certification.Experience starting IV?sDemonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills in daily practice: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple interventions simultaneously. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.
