About the Role
Baptist Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical unit in the Weaver Tower at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This position is for a full-time day shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel.
- Coordinate care provided by ancillary services, including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
- Educate patients/SO/families about their disease process and plan of care.
- Serve as patient advocate and provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of Medical Surgical Nursing experience.
- Hospital experience.
Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (Required).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required, American Heart Association).
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Required).
Pay
Sign-on bonus of up to $2,500.
