About the role

As a home health nurse at the University of Vermont Health - Home Health and Hospice, you’ll provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in their homes—helping individuals remain where they feel most comfortable. You’ll work to the top of your licensure and collaborate closely within a comprehensive, interdisciplinary team that includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs), Physical Therapists (PTs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Social Workers, and dedicated administrative support. Together, we ensure each patient receives the highest level of personalized, at-home care.

Schedule

  • Full-time positions: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • One rotating weekend day every 5-6 weeks (no weekday worked that week)
  • On-call: Not required

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
  • 1+ year of home health or public health nursing experience preferred, OR a combination of education and experience that provides comparable skills
  • Home care experience is helpful but not required—we provide training for motivated candidates
  • Appropriate experience in specific clinical area (varies by unit)

Incentives
