Registered Nurse - Acute Care, Neonatal Intermediate, FT, Nights

About the role

Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Implements direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Monitors patient responses, revises care plans as needed, and documents progress to meet desired outcomes.
• Promotes safety, adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and infection control protocols.
• Provides patient and family education, addressing learning needs and encouraging participation in care.
• Utilizes performance metrics for quality improvement, participates in audits, and supports performance enhancement initiatives.
• Advocates for patients, coordinates care, and collaborates effectively with the healthcare team.
• Maintains professional licensure, completes mandatory education, and reflects on practice for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• One year of RN experience or equivalent (e.g., residency program, LPN experience).
• Current RN license recognized in the practice state.
