Registered Nurse - Acute Care - As Needed

About the role

Join a compassionate nursing team in a scenic coastal community at a 22-bed acute care hospital with ICU services. Provide comprehensive, hands-on care to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care
• Develop and update patient care plans
• Perform assessments and specialized procedures
• Respond to patient status changes
• Cookpilot with physicians
• Supervise support staff
• Support safety and quality initiatives

Requirements

• Requires active RN license in Alaska
• Requires BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 6 months
• Prefer 1+ year of acute care experience or willingness to train

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Able to handle emergency situations

Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Moderate physical activities

Benefits

This per diem position offers a $47.53/hour pay rate plus a 15% premium, but no benefits.
